Tea Meditation

Meditation allows you to feel inner peace, gives you the opportunity to hear your

true self. Many spiritual practices strive to experience such a state. In Hinduism,

mantras are chanted, yoga is practiced, Orthodox Christians read prayers, and in

China and Japan, they drink tea, observing the traditions of the tea ceremony. Tea

and the spiritual path became one. Tea helps to concentrate attention on meditation,

does not fog the mind, and leads to harmony and creation.

Comprehension and Tea Ceremony

The Chinese do not drink tea with bagels, sugar, milk or lemon. The tea drinking

ceremony has been developing in China for centuries according to legend, tea as a

drink was popularized by monks and was originally used exclusively for meditation.

It is possible to achieve an internal dialogue and comprehension only in a calm

atmosphere, without haste. The very process of brewing tea, manipulating dishes

forces you to focus and detach yourself from the hustle and bustle of the world

around you.

If you are disturbed by the myriad of thoughts and need to solve difficult issues,

take your time to brew your favorite type of Chinese tea and forget about your

problems, completely surrendering to the ceremony. When you have finished

performing the sacrament and eating tea, you will certainly feel clarity of thought,

and the issue will resolve itself.

You don`t have to set a goal for meditation, you can feel refreshed and refreshed

just by cooking and drinking a few cups of real Chinese tea.

The Magic Composition of Chinese Tea

Not only the process of brewing tea and the ceremony itself affects the meditative

state, the content of Chinese alkaloids in camellia leaves, and tannin in particular,

invigorates and increases performance, but does not confuse the consciousness. In

simple words, for a fan of Chinese tea, time stops, concentrating on the actual

moment, and obsessive and heavy thoughts evaporate.

To become proficient in meditation, try following these rules:

  • Relax Your Body and Let Go of Your Thoughts

  • Concentrate on breathing, a cheerful state should not be accompanied by a

rapid heartbeat and chaotic thoughts

oolongs are brewed, which do not cause drowsiness and help to focus on the

process. The most popular varieties are Dahongpao, Shuxian and Tieguanyin.

Among the green Chinese teas, there are varieties Long Jing, Tai Ping Hou Kui. To

normalize blood pressure and stimulate the brain, Gaba tea is drunk.
